Farm Writers' Association of NSW - mix with the leaders in agribusiness

Traditionally, the Association meets over lunch on the last Friday of each month to hear invited speakers present their views on rural issues of current importance. Most years the Association also holds a special breakfast on the morning following the release of the Federal Budget, providing an opportunity to discuss the impact of budget changes on the agriculture sector.

In 2009 the Association began Agribuzz - a smart-casual event in a relaxed atmosphere that facilitates professional networking and professional development opportunities.  Over drinks and canapés, our members and friends exchange business intelligence and views, enjoy brief presentations from key-note speakers and take the rare chance to meet agribusiness’s leaders and leaders-in–the-making.

Bookings and payment for events can only be made online! 

The cost for lunch seminars is $80 per person for members and $100 for non-members*.

Meeting times are 12:00 for 12.30pm (except for the Budget breakfast, Christmas party and Agribuzz events).

Venue for most seminars: Pinaroo Rooms 4 & 5 at The Grace Hotel,  77 York Street, Sydney (cnr King Street).

*The Association reserves the right to charge an administration fee of $5 for bookings made after the booking deadline for each event. To inquire about a late booking, email bookings@nswfarmwriters.org.au.

Please also note that if cancellations are not received by the appropriate deadline, the Association incurs a charge. Thus refunds are not usually possible.
